The Foundation aims to strengthen tourism governance across the province by promoting the coordinated, sustainable and competitive development of tourism. It works closely with the Padova and Terme e Colli Euganei Destination Management Organisations, both officially recognised by the Veneto Region, as well as with local authorities and all stakeholders involved in destination development.
A strategic hub for the local tourism sector
The Foundation serves as a highly specialised strategic hub supporting the provincial tourism system and fostering coordination among destinations, institutions, tourism operators, and public and private organisations.
Through its activities, it contributes to the integrated promotion of Padova, the Euganean Spas and the Euganean Hills, showcasing the area’s outstanding cultural and natural heritage, thermal spa traditions, food and wine, conference facilities and hospitality.
The Foundation’s activities
The Foundation’s main activities include promoting the destination at national and international level, supporting the development of tourism products, collaborating in the management of tourist information and visitor services, promoting high-quality cultural initiatives and events, fostering a culture of hospitality and sustainable tourism, and supporting education and professional development in the tourism sector.
The Foundation may also carry out commercial activities that are ancillary and instrumental to its institutional purposes, as well as any other activities deemed appropriate for pursuing the integrated tourism development of the area.
The Foundation seeks to serve as a key point of reference for the development of tourism across the province, promoting collaboration, integration and sustainability, strengthening the destination’s positioning and fostering the balanced growth of the entire local tourism system.
